When you have completed a course with an average of 75% and feel ready to attempt the final real examination, please follow the following procedures. If you have not obtained 75% email us and we will review your results and decide on the course of action based on your results and situation. PSTAR (Pre Solo Air Regulations) Examination Recreational Written Examination No ground school records or recommendation is required for the Recreational Written examination, although we will fax or mail the letters if the student so desires. Students are required to have at least a Class IV medical to attempt the examination. An applicant shall have obtained a minimum of 60% in each of the following four mandatory areas, (Air Law, Navigation, Meteorology, and General Knowledge) as well as in the overall to pass the Recreational Examination. Private Written Examination
To attempt the examination we require notice of at least 48 hours via email. On that email I need your name as it is on your medical, your licence number, a copy of your medical and the last page of your logbook via email or fax. We will fax the recommendation directly to you, Transport Canada, or your Flight Training Unit. An applicant shall have obtained a minimum of 60% in each of the following four mandatory areas, (Air Law, Navigation, Meteorology, and General Knowledge) as well as in the overall to pass the Private Examination. Commercial Written Examination
