CRM Ground (AME) Crew (Year Two)

Annual Renewal for Ground (AME) Crew Resource Management, designed for AC 700-042

There are 2 parts to the CRM course:

Part 1 is a online course that can be started any time, and completed at the students schedule. You may use the presentations, and/or videos, and/or audio recording to prepare for the quizzes. All quizzes and exam needs to be corrected to 100% by doing the quizzes and exams again. Course time is approximately 4 hours. Includes the following topics:

• Threat and error management
• Communications
• Situational awareness
• Pressures and stress
• Fatigue
• Workload management
• Decision making
• Leadership and team building
• Automation and technology management

Part 2 is a joint participation of relevant flight/ground crew. Average time is 1-2 hours. There are several options on how this could be completed:

A checklist/forms is provided to conduct a group session with your own company personal.
Online study of case studies, paragraph long answers.
Webinar or in person study by pilottraining instructors (extra cost dependent on size and scope).

Includes material for a case study on the types of operations below including current safety trends within the industry. Use the case study that is applicable to your type of operation.

• 2 Crew VFR/IFR
• Sea plane
• Aerial Applicator
• VFR Helicopter Operations
• Sky Diving Operations
• Flight Dispatchers
• Aircraft Maintenance

Certificate of completion is included. 2-3 hours is required to complete the entire course. Access to the course is good for 90 days for one user from any computer or device.
